Adoption Stories

Rocky

   I am writing to let you know Rocky has adjusted perfectly. He has picked
his spot at the foot of our bed as his. When we get ready to leave he goes
and lies down on his blanket and stays there until we come back.

I took him to the dog park yesterday and he was running and chasing sticks and flirting with all the girls. He did marvelous with the other male dogs as well. No problems whatsoever.

We have had him out for several walks so far, all of which he hasn't pulled,
growled, jumped, been bad of any sort. I have had him off leash in public
several times too and he doesn't venture further than a few feet from me.

We just wanted to let you know he will be loved forever and treated like a
king. And thank you for such a wonderful family member.

Luther

 Luther is doing great. He never skipped a beat after you guys left. We have been getting along just perfect. He's a bundle of energy and we just have to try to keep up lol.

He has been eating in the morning and at night and has found a spot outside to relieve himself. I have not got the nerve to let him out on his own just yet, maybe with more familiarizing him with property line. 

Anyways thanks for everything, he is a perfect dog, and we will all be happier for that. I'll keep in touch.

Dryfuss

Dryfuss has found a great home with two cats and a little girl. He will have a great time with his new family. Thank you very much Shepherds Country Haven for this great German Shepherd.

Sable

Sable was adopted to a great home with a smaller dog. She was with our pack of German Shepherds and always felt scared, as she was much smaller then the rest of our Shepherds. She is so beautiful

Madison

She has found her new home. She now has two children to play with at her new home.  Madison also has another shepherd as a playmate and his name is Simba which also came from Shepherds Country Haven and Rescue.

Joey

Joey has found a home!!!

Simba

Simba went to Madison's home to keep her company.

 They seem to get alone great, and lets hope they

have a great life together.

Update on Nala her new name

Rip has found a home up north to be free and run all she wants. Rip was from the city and had not much room to run. Rip will enjoy all this room with her new home.

Nikko

Eddy has found his forever home

Eddy is doing awesome. He is such a good dog and doing very well...He has been great on leash as well as off leash. He is also getting to know his new name. Tomorrow he and Missie are going to the beach, Nikko really needs a bath. So down to the lake it is. He is starting to show a wee bit of weight gain and has had no problem with human food. I just love him. As I have said he and Missie are so much alike. I just don't understand how anyone could hurt or mistreat any animal. Nikko's spirit is starting to come back. Thank you so much......

Samson

Samson has found himself a great home.  It was an instant attraction on both sides.  He will have allot of fun running in his big beautiful yard with his new family.  He also has a wood pile to pick that perfect stick for him and his master to play with.  Samson will be loved for many years to come.

Tundra

Tundra has found her forever home. She will have lots to learn and do now.

UPDATE

Tundra is doing great and is learning her new commands very well. She is fitting into her new home very well, and we get stores about her all the time. She has found the garden at her new home also which she just loved digging up.

Sholtz

Sholtz has found his new home, & seems to fit in nicely. Sholtz is a good boy and should make a great pet.

Butterfly

Butterfly found her for ever home. We will post more on her progress when we hear on how she is making out in her new home.

Ivy & Luke

These two shepherds found a great home in the country with lots of room to run & play.

We  got an e-mail telling us they are just having a great time.
