I would just like
to take the opportunity to thank Shepherds Country Haven
for giving me such an excellent dog. Two years ago
I was looking for a shepherd but everywhere I looked I
was not getting what I was looking for. I found
the website and fell in love. Our dog is the smartest
dog I have ever seen, we did not even really have to
train him because we would say something once and he
would do it. We get comments daily on how nice looking
and well behaved our Shepherd is. I admire how much
Shepherds Country Haven takes pride in their animals and
everything they do for the rescues. They take them
in and make them feel loved, which is exactly what they
need. To this day I still keep in touch with them to
let them know how Ike is doing and they really do care.

Adopting Sable was one
of the best decisions I could have made. I have
always loved and owned German Shepherds but Sable
was just what I needed at the time. My two beloved
Shepherds had both died a year before and my heart
was longing for another one to love. Sable filled
that spot. We were good for each other. She is one
of the most intelligent, obedient, protective, but
gentle GSD I have known. I love her dearly. I thank
you for her and for your endless dedication to the
breed. The world is a better place with you.

I was just thinking of Pax and hope that the
trip home went well. It was really weird how
Pax never barked or growled when he met
you.....everyone commented on that as you left
with Pax. It's almost as if Pax knew that
something was in store for him and maybe he
sensed that you were going to be apart of his
"new" future......very interesting.
Anyway, just want to say a big THANX again for
giving Pax a new lease on life. I hope it all
works out for you and him. I think it's
wonderful the amount of time and work you put
into this job; you obviously have a great love
for dogs and a gift as they really do respond to
you.
